Safe children. Strong families. Resilient communities.

Every child deserves safety, love, and a meaningful voice. Education for Youth Empowerment (EYE) safeguards children in refugee settlements and rural communities by preventing harm, responding decisively when it occurs, and building community-led protection systems that endure. Our child protection work is evidence-driven, rights-based, and designed to deliver measurable, sustainable outcomes for children, caregivers, and the wider community.

All Children Deserve Protection

Every child deserves safety, love, and a voice. EYE protects children from violence, neglect, exploitation, and abuse through holistic, community-based systems.

Our Approach

Education for Youth Empowerment (EYE) recognizes that child protection is not a one-time intervention—it’s a lifelong commitment to creating safe, nurturing, and supportive environments where children can thrive. We work hand in hand with families, schools, community leaders, and institutions to ensure that every child enjoys their right to safety, education, and wellbeing.

Our programs strengthen community protection mechanisms, empower parents and guardians, and restore hope to children affected by conflict, displacement, and exploitation. Through trust, compassion, and shared accountability, we help children regain their voice and confidence.

Key Activities

  • Case Management and Psychosocial Support: Providing individual case management for vulnerable children, including trauma counseling, referral services, and emotional support to restore dignity and hope.
  • Family Tracing and Reunification: Supporting separated and unaccompanied children to reconnect with their families through close coordination with community networks and local authorities.
  • Child Protection Committees and Reporting Pathways: Establishing and training community-based committees to identify, prevent, and respond to child rights violations.
  • Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention and Response: Conducting awareness campaigns, survivor support, and capacity building to end GBV and promote gender equality in refugee and host communities.
  • Life Skills and Child Participation Programs: Equipping children and adolescents with essential life skills, leadership training, and platforms to express their views and participate in decision-making.

Our Impact

Through our child protection interventions, families have become stronger and communities more vigilant. Hundreds of children have been safely reunited with their families, survivors of violence have received counseling and justice, and local structures are now equipped to identify and respond to child protection risks swiftly.

Together, we are building a world where every child grows up free from fear and filled with the courage to dream again.
